At Chasing Hope International, everything we do is rooted in one purpose: to point others to the eternal hope of Jesus Christ. We believe hope isn’t just something we give—it’s Someone we follow. Looking at the photos above, you’ll see the bright smile of a little boy named Juan David. He was part of our first three years of the Christmas in Colombia program—one of the many children whose life was touched through gifts, food, shoes, and the joy of being seen and loved. In May of 2025, Juan David tragically passed away in a drowning accident. His loss shook us deeply and reminded us of a sobering truth: our time on this Earth is not forever.
That’s why we do what we do.
​Yes, we meet physical needs. Yes, we show up with joy, laughter, and practical support. But more than anything, we’re here to point every soul we encounter to the only hope that lasts—Jesus Christ. We want every child, every family, every young person to know the One who offers life that never ends. As painful as it is to lose someone so young, we rest in knowing that Juan David had been introduced to the eternal hope of Christ. And that truth compels us to keep going, to keep giving, and to keep sharing the Gospel—because eternity matters.
